When my husband and I first contacted Our Fairy Godmother, I admit to being in an emotional state. My physician had made it clear to me that my chances of becoming pregnant could be quite good….if I was to consider an egg donation. This was something I had never considered in the past.

I am a 43-year-old professional who has spent the last several years traveling and living (what I have always thought) to be an exciting life. Somehow, the last several years my desire to have children has intensified. However, though I was able to become pregnant soon after beginning to try…I did experience a miscarriage at 19 weeks gestation. I do not think I had ever felt so down or so low in my life.

It is all arranged and taken care of so all you have to do is relax and let things happen. I admit to being used to being in control. Cathy and the staff at Our Fairy Godmother not only recognized this but also made every effort to ensure that my partner and I felt included in every step of the process, but did not have to suffer any of the logistical headaches.

I am now almost 8 weeks pregnant and appreciating all my pregnancy symptoms every day. From my first phone call to Our Fairy Godmother to receiving that first pregnancy test, only 5 months has past.
